Fall 2019 Couture

July 13th, 2019

Fall Couture week in Paris did not disappoint. Some designers favored bold colors, feathers, and still more sequins, while others preferred a monochrome palette, elegant structure and over the top embroidery. Givenchy showed out in black and white ensembles complete with stunning men's looks. Chanel paid homage to late designer Karl Lagerfeld with their quintessential tweed coats and silk evening wear. Giambattista Valli capitalized on their recent buzz for a collaboration with H & M by delivering yet another set of dramatic and colorful high-low gowns. But it was Christian Dior that truly stunned. Equal parts luxurious and intricate, the all-black collection fulfills all of our fall wardrobe dreams.
