Hidden in the canyons at the end of a road, The Shea Residence plays with materials and proportions in this one of a kind mid century home in California's Coachella Valley. Rooms, designed by the owner, incorporate elements of classic mid century design. The living room is open and inviting using a clever mix of warm tones throughout the space.
Venturing further into the home, each bedroom takes on a personality of its own. The master suite exudes sophistication through shades of blue and turquoise paired with exceptionally tall wooden ceilings. On the opposite side of the residence, the guest quarters create a feel all their own. After ascending an outdoor iron staircase, guests enter jack and jill bedrooms with singular sitting areas that easily double as artwork. The large canvases placed above each bed ground the rooms in their respective color palettes.
The outdoor pool and patio area complete the home. With expansive, uninterrupted views of Mount San Jacinto, it's the perfect setting to enjoy an early morning cup of coffee or a cocktail at golden hour.
